Sprint Holiday 2018 Lightwave Animation
The Retail Creative Studio team at Sprint developed the 2018 holiday season thematic to support Promo and Core tactics in all of our retail environments.
One of the objectives of the 2018 holiday campaign was to take the iconic Sprint lightwave and create a holiday version of it with some glitter and sparks.
One of the challenges we faced was how to animate the light wave in a manner that is consistent with how the iconic light wave is animated for Sprint's above the line broadcast and digital tactics. This animation would be used for our in-store digital tactics and would be shared with our internal agency for above the line broadcast and digital tactics.
I was assigned to solve for that problem. Using a combination of vector assets and Trapcode Particular particle systems, I was able to animate our light wave inside Adobe After Effects.
